LABORATORY TECHNICIAN
Requirement:
- Completion of technical secondary education
- Certified as an oil and gas laboratory analyst by the laboratory institution such as Lemigas and or any other authorized 3rd parties Institution
- 5 Years experience in analytical testing in Oil and Gas processing plant Laboratory
- Over than 4 (four) laboratory technicians, I (one) of them must process laboratory technician certificate to operate X-Ray Analyzer From BATAN and or any other authorized 3rd parties Institution
- Must be Familiar with: Galaxy Software of Varian Gas Chromatography
- HACH-UV Vis Spectrophotometer DR 5000 Software
- Metrom Autotitrator Software
- Moisture Check 2000 Software
- Have knowledge scientific to perform a sampling, analysis and calibration in compliance with standard testing method
- Able to conduct analysis and test including but not limited to the following analysis using method/test procedures listed below:
- Water Sample, Gas Sample, Condensate / Oil Sample, Chemical Sample
- Good written and spoken English
Responsibilities:
- Capable and do routine analysis under supervisor of the Lab Supervisor
- Carry out sampling and testing in accordance with the testing standard procedure
- Capable to establish laboratory equipment and testing standard procedure
- Aware of detection limits, accuracy of their instruments and test method
- Accountable for calibration, some maintenance (including identify spare parts and propose cost) and routine cleaning of the equipment. Laboratory equipment calibrations shall be carried out on a routine basis as per schedule. The Laboratory Supervisor shall ensure that proper calibration schedules are maintained.
- Maintain Instrument calibration records in the laboratory, and where appropriate, these factors shall be applied to calculation.
- Bring abnormalities in the test results, methods and/or analyses to the attention of Laboratory Supervisor.
- Responsible for follow up of inventory level of Reagent/Chemical, utility gases and other consumable materials for Laboratory testing. When necessary inform lab Supervisor.
- Fully familiar with all ESH & Q aspects related to his work especially COMPANY HSE standard and regulation.
- Conduct housekeeping in the laboratory building area.
