St Joseph International School
St Joseph International School was set up on January 20, 2006 to provide an internationally recognized education in Indonesia so that children can benefit from a good education and a loving environment. Our school located at the central district of Jakarta, close to China Town. We provide quality education for Pre School (1 – 5 years old) up to Primary School (Primary 1 – Primary 3). Singapore, being constantly ranked TOP 5 in education by the UNITED NATIONS and having an integrated bilingual curriculum, serves as a good model for our school curriculum. Lessons are conducted in ENGLISH and CHINESE language.
MUSIC TEACHER for Pre-School and Primary School
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Assist the development of the educational program, including both curricular and co-curricular activities to maximize educational outcomes
- Assist the development of annual operational plans for the School
- Assist the Principal in designing and implementing all School’s programs
- On limited occasion, become the marketing and representation of the School to the community, including the establishment and fostering of relationships with relevant government agencies and the media
- On limited occasion, support the work of all group associated with the School and actively participate in appropriate School’s activities
- Participate actively in relevant professional development activities
Qualifications :
- Male / Female 25 – 35 years old
- Minimum Bachelor degree in Music, or “SARJANA MUSIK GEREJA (SMG)”
- Achievement as a successful teacher is essential, preferably with at least 2 years experience as a teacher at National Plus / International School (preferably School using Singapore syllabus)
- Experience in conducting music ensemble for various school occasions
- Must be able to operate different kinds of musical instruments
- Experience in curriculum planning and development
- Familiar with Singapore syllabus or using Singapore books
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills and people skills
- Speak English fluently is a must
- Must love children
- Intellectual strength, professional integrity, strong values, and good personality
- A dynamic educator, a strong people person, energetic and self motivated
- Creative and innovative in developing new learning methods for children
