We are currently looking suitable candidates for the following positions:

Project Engineer
Position Objective:

  • Develop F.S. based initiatives with Dresser-Rand Clients such as Integrated Maintenance Solutions, Reliability Improvement Programs, Condition Monitoring & Equipment Health Programs, and Training.
  • Provide Project Management control of major field contracts which are executed at the customers’ job site using Field Service Representatives, sub contractor labor, vendors and resources.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer with technical solutions to operation and maintenance problems; promote the use of the available D-R Service products, technology and installation resources.
  • Conduct operational audits at Customer premises to provide technical advice on operation problems and maintenance procedures.
  • Put together technical and commercial proposals for installation, repair and refurbishment schemes to Customer’s requirements, being responsible for the profit & loss element of projects. Discuss / negotiate and finalize the proposal with Customer.  Act as focal point in coordinating site activities and scheduling of manpower on identified projects.
  • Provide technical assistance on installation, startup, servicing, overhauls, and troubleshooting of D-R made equipment (i.e. centrifugal compressor, steam turbine, reciprocating compressor, control systems) throughout the Asia Pacific region.
  • Write clear, concise daily reports to keep factory and field personnel accurately appraised of job progress and to protect the company from liability for problems resulting from customer deviations from D-R standards.

Job Specific Responsibilities/Qualifications:

  • The Project Engineer will work close together with the Repair Centre and Field Service Group to coordinate as a team the numerous integrated Field Services / Repairs projects.
  • He will be the main contact with DR organization both on a commercially and technical basis with account managers, project managers, equipments specialists, spare parts sales contacts, etc. Externally the Project
  • Engineer will maintain contacts with procurement and technical dept. of customers and with sales representatives of suppliers.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Education/Experience:
    At least five (5) years in dealing with Maintenance of (Main) Rotating Equipment with client facing and / or thorough technical expertise. Apart from the education degree required the Project Engineer should have had adequate safety training at supervisory level. Be familiar with the different customs at refinery & petro-chemical sites. Have thorough knowledge about rotating equipment machinery.
  • Equipment / Software Knowledge:
    Microsoft Office
  • Skills or Work-style Preferred:
    Ability to work in Team Environment. Must have ability to develop client relationships, display excellent listening skills, and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Unique or Special Requirements:
    Travel required  60 % in general

Project Manager
Responsibilities :
The Project Manager is responsible for the following as applicable to O&M, Turnkey projects, Integrated Maintenance Solutions, Reliability Improvement Programs, Condition Monitoring, and Training.

  • Proposal development of field service overhauls & revamps proposals including sourcing, pricing, and scope of work definition. Critical path planning and estimate of time and materials in accordance with work scope provided by the client.
  • Participate in project execution.
  • Audit the Field Service projects in progress relative to actual time and cost.
  • Provide technical assistance to the PM’s / FSRs executing MOM contracts / Overhauls.
  • Conduct site audits, equipment performance test and issue report to the customer.
  • Participate in field solutions opportunity pursuit process.

Requirements :

  • Education/Experience:
    BSME or equivalent – minimum 6 years experience as engineer or related work experience. Compressor product (turbo, reciprocating) and steam knowledge required. Experience with overhauls and inspections of Steam Turbines, Reciprocating Compressors and Centrifugal Compressors.
  • Equipment / Software Knowledge:
    Microsoft Office
  • Skills or Work-style Preferred:
    Ability to work in Team Environment. Must have ability to develop client relationships, display excellent listening skills, and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Unique or Special Requirements:
    Travel required - 60 -80 % in general

Field Service Representative - Mechanicals
The Dresser-Rand Mechanical Field Service Representative is responsible for providing technical assistance to clients during the installation and commissioning of new mechanical equipment, overhauls of mechanical equipment, and during the startup of various machinery.
The FSR troubleshoots mechanical problems encountered in the field environment with engineering support from the corresponding factory.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide technical assistance on installation, startup, servicing, overhauls and troubleshooting of D-R’s equipment throughout Asia Pacific region.
Instruct and train customers’ operators and/or maintenance personnel when requested or directed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) in an engineering discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum experience: 3 years related experience.

Job Specific Responsibilities/Qualifications:

  • Ability to read mechanical prints and drawings, piping and instrumentation diagrams (PID’s), and blue prints.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Experience with overhauls and inspections of Steam Turbines, Reciprocating Compressors and Centrifugal Compressors is a plus.
  • This position requires 80-90% travel to domestic and international job sites.
  • Must have ability to develop client relationships, display excellent listening skills, and maintain a positive attitude.

Field Service Representative - Controls
Responsibilities/Description

  • Commission and troubleshoot Dresser-Rand manufactured control systems and related components;
  • Write and debug various software routines as required
  • Requires ability to troubleshoot various mechanical systems on turbine and compressor equipment.
  • Provide effective communication between Dresser-Rand and client during the course of project execution and problem solving

Qualifications:
BS/Electrical Engineering with minimum four (4) years related experience required.

Job Specific Responsibilities/Qualifications:

  • Equipment / Software Knowledge:
    - Very strong Programming Logic Controller (PLC) programming / troubleshooting skills. Experience with commissioning / troubleshooting various control system products.
    - Strong experience with rotating and reciprocating machinery and related auxiliary systems desired.
  • Unique or Special Requirements:
    - Ability to take on assignments, both International and Domestic, on short notice.
    - Strong client facing and communication skills, (written and spoken) required.
    - Despite working alone in a client facility most of the time, must be a team player and willing to contribute to the continued growth of the department.
