POSITION SYNOPSIS
We are currently offering a proactive, lateral-thinking professional the opportunity to join the team in this key role providing internal and external project controls for the Pearl Project. With your main priorities providing support in the development, implementation and maintenance of world-class project tools, you will also be involved in the coordination with internal and external resources, to establish project status based on agreed plans. You will also provide assistance in evaluating proposals against BHP Billiton standards and requirements as well as accepted project control principals and guidelines.
Reporting to the Planning Manager, your key accountabilities will include:
- Providing support to the various project groups by compiling accurate data of the project;
- Development of innovative solutions to provide problem resolution;
- Ensuring unbiased implementation of Project Control procedures and guidelines;
- Maintaining deadlines and the timely updating of update information; and
- Analysis and reporting on overall project progress and costs.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
You will be degree qualified with extensive experience as a Project Control Specialist / Planner in a major resource setting or large scale capital projects. Action-oriented and quality-focused, your track record testifies to your planning capabilities, implementation of world class Project Control Systems and tools and your strengths in information monitoring in a major project environment.
Competency and excellent technical knowledge in Primavera (P6 preferred) along with expertise in the full Microsoft Office suite will support your demonstrated experience in project control concepts analysis and reporting functions.

POSITION SYNOPSIS
We are now offering a challenging opportunity in a very dynamic environment to a self-motivated individual. You will be responsible for providing assistance to the Financial Services Superintendent in maintaining stewardship of the account for Stainless Steel Materials Indonesian Entities. You will also be involved in ensuring conformance with BHP Billiton’s corporate governance framework and Indonesian Regulatory Requirements through the utilisation and maintenance of project financial and commercial systems, policies, procedures and internal control systems.
Reporting to the Financial Services Superintendent, your key accountabilities will include:
- Assist in preparation of the yearly statutory accounts for Stainless Steel Materials Indonesian entities;
- Ensure that all accounts are reconciled according to established procedure;
- Ensure that all reconciliation items are cleared in a timely manner;
- Ensure no duplicate invoices;
- Payment processing and receivables in accordance with payment terms;
- Oversight of petty cash and cash book transactions performed by Finance Officers;
- Preparation of intercompany invoices;
- Banking transactions (inhouse transfers, term deposits );
- Internal / External Audit Support as required;
- Processing new card requests and cancellations; and
- Recommending improvements to processes and procedures.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
You will have gained extensive experience in finance in a mining project environment which will be supplemented by your tertiary degree of Finance or Accounting.
