PT. Nusa Halmahera Minerals is a gold mining and exploration company, operating a COW on Halmahera Island, North Maluku. The company is a joint venture between Newcrest Mining Limited (82.5%) and PT Aneka Tambang (17.5%).
Senior Metallurgist
The Company has a position vacant in Senior Metallurgist at Gosowong – North Halmahera working a 4 weeks on, 2 weeks off roster. The Senior Metallurgist reports to Metallurgical Superintendent.
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience:
- Degree in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering or Mineral Dressing. Master degree preferred
- 8 Years experience in Metallurgy
- Preferably with exposure to gold ores and extraction using CIL or CIP leaching technology
- Strong computer skills
- Fluent in English both written and oral is essential
- Strong Safety record and Safety leadership skills.
