SMART CARD TECHNICAL CONSULTANT-TELECOMMUNICATION
Core Mission:
The Technical Consultant (TC) works under the direction of the Technical Manager and is responsible for the technical support of Sagem Orga’s Telecommunication Products. The TC is required to maintain the continuity of business to Sagem Orga’s existing customers in named accounts.  The TC is required to provide ongoing technical support to distribution channels and contribute towards preparation of sales presentations, tender responses and proposals

Main Responsibilities:
Trial / Production cards:

  • Creates, Initializes and Personalizes Specifications for smart cards
  • Prepares and checks of Personalization script files for card production factory
  • Handles Input/Output Data and PIN mailers for Trial and Production cards
  • Delivers Trial card to customer
  • Coordinates Trial cards/Software development between Headquarter and factories to ensure smooth deliveries of end-products
  • Tasks as may be assigned by the Technical Manager from time to time

Customer Support:

  • Liaises with customer on product requirement
  • Liaises with Customers/Vendors/Factory on Technical issues
  • Resolves technical issues
  • Conducts technical training for customers
  • Provides on-site technical support
  • Updates and manages all folders in the server pertaining to the Department
  • Tasks as may be assigned by the Technical Manager from time to time

Qualifications:
Education:
Engineering degree in Electronic or in Telecommunication. An additional degree in Business or Commercial engineering would be preferred

Skills:

  • Fluent English
  • Good team work and networking skill
  • Good oral and written communication skill
  • Strong technical background in telecom, smart card, banking, security and others
  • Strong project management skill

Experience:
At least 3 years working experience in smart card or technical environment

Personal abilities:

  • Customer oriented
  • Good creative intelligence (design, conceptualization)
  • Prepared to invest whatever effort is required to get the job done
  • Tenacious in the approach to solving problem
  • Organized, rigorous and autonomous
  • Mobile

Work Environment /Dynamics:

  • Contractual basis, renewable yearly
  • Frequent visits to customers’ office premises required
  • Regional traveling expected
