APRIL - We are looking for the following professionals to join our world-class forestry group at Pangkalan Kerinci, near Pekanbaru in Riau Province, Sumatra, Indonesia for Plantation Forest Sustainability:

Social Development Coordinator (Job Code:FO-SDC)

  • Reporting to the Sustainability Director
  • Develop, coordinate, advise and report on a portfolio of Group social development initiatives for enhanced acceptance and participation of communities in plantation forestry
  • Provide strategic directions and oversight to Group in developing an innovative, succesful and expanding community plantation program (HTR)
  • Maximize Group CSR profile derived from these social development initiatives through strategic partnerships with diverse stakeholder, including NGOs Government and development agencies

Job Requirements:

  • Age minimum 35 years
  • Min Bachelor in Forestry/Agriculture (Rural Development), preferably PhD
  • Min 10-12 years experience in Forestry, Agriculture or Community/Rural Development
  • Strong Project management experience and track record of implementation
  • Familiar with ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, LEI/FSC certification standards
  • Familiar with Government policy on community plantation (HTR)
  • Excellent communication and writing skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia
  • Willing to be relocated  or assigned in remote or site areas

Estate Manager (Job Code: DF-EM)

  • Reporting to the Business Unit Head
  • Lead, drive, facilitate, coordinate, and control Estate Forestry OPERATIONS and support services
  • Achieve planned targets and cost whilst adhering to the company’s best practices and certification standards
  • Lead Estate’s growth and development through Continuous Improvement
  • Coordinate Estate’s wood supply, plantation, and support services annual budget

Harvesting Manager (Job Code: PF-HM)

  • Reporting to Harvesting Coordinator
  • Lead, drive, facilitate, coordinate, and control Estate HARVESTING and support services
  • Achieve planned targets and cost whilst adhering to the company’s best practices and certification standards, zero waste
  • Lead Estate’s harvesting growth and development through Continuous Improvement and Best Practice
  • Coordinate Estate’s harvesting and support services annual budget

Plantation Superintendent/ Askep (Job Code: DF-Pask)

  • Reporting to the Plantation Manager
  • Lead and Drive continuous Improvement and Best Practices in Plantation operations
  • Manage the company’s and contractors assets and resources for effective and maximum utilization
  • Achieve planned targets, MAI and cost whilst adhering to the company’s best practices and certification
  • Achieve lowest cost while operating within the Group EHS policies & Certification standards
  • Develop Estate plantation budget
  • Set benchmark for operations cost and performance to achieve MAI targets

Harvesting Superintendent / Askep (Job Code: DF-Hask)

  • Reporting to the Harvest Manager
  • Lead and Drive continuous Improvement and Best Practices in Harvesting operations
  • Achieve planned targets and cost whilst adhering to the company’s best practices and certification standards
  • Manage the company’s and contractor’s assets and resources for effective and maximum utilization
  • Achieve lowest cost while operating within the Group EHS policies & Certification standards
  • Develop Estate harvesting budgets
  • Set benchmark for operations cost and performance to achieve zero waste and minimum soil

Job Requirements:

  • Min Diploma in Forestry/Agriculture
  • Min 10 years experience in Forestry/Agriculture (with 5 years in Managerial level) for Estate Manager / Harvesting Manager
  • Min 5 years experience in Forestry / Agriculture for Harvesting Superintendent / Plantation Superintendent
  • Has knowledge and skill in Financial System (incl. Budgeting, Forecasting, Controlling and Reporting)
  • Familiar with ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, LEI / FSC
  • Good Health
  • Effective written and spoken communication skills in English
  • Willing to be relocated to or assigned in remote or site areas
