Assistant Laboratory Manager/ Laboratory Manager
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day to day operation of the laboratory
- Ensure timely processing and storage of all cord blood units
- Identify and recommend process development/ improvements in processing and storage of cord blood units
- Responsible for competency testing and ensure adherence to documented procedures and protocols
- Ensure adherence to lab and regulatory requirements
- Maintain safe and clean working environment in the lab
- To be the speaker for internal and public talks, if necessary
Requirements:
- Bachelor in Science/ Biomedical/ Biotechnology or other related life sciences disciplines
- Relevant quality assurance and regulatory compliance experience
- Strong sense of responsibility and commitment
- Ability to lead and motivate lab staff
- At least 3-5 years of hands-on and related experience or industry
- Experience in the use of sterile technique
- Experience in processing of umbilical cord blood would be an advantage
