DISASTER RECOVERY & DATA CENTER FACILITIES MANAGER (GTS-0186531)
Location: Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia
Responsibilities :
- To manage, drive, co-ordinate and maintain the IT Disaster Recovery activities of assigned client.
- Plan, drive and co-ordinate defined IT DR test & exercise schedules. To maintain & update all related Disater Recovery processes, plans and procedures as per requirements.
- Provide the require audit support on ‘Disaster Recovery’ compliance activities. Support ‘Disaster Recovery’ implementation for IT systems through review & change process.
- Act as a SPOC, assess and advise on Data Center supporting facilities maintenance activities in relation to IT business continuity.
Requirements :
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Degree in Engineering (Computer / Telecommunication), Computer Science / Information Technology, Science & Technology or equivalent.
- At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position. Preferable for those candidates who have an extensive exposure in disaster recovery and business continuity environments.
- Strong in interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. Able to work and collaborate with all levels of people.
- Required skill(s) : Having good knowledge and understanding in ‘Disaster Recovery’ planning & methodologies, ‘Data Center’ facilities requirements, Business Continuity & Project Management.
- Required language(s) : Fluent in English both written and spoken.
