Purchasing Executive
Department: Finance
Reports to: Head of Finance
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the procurement of all parts
- Source new suppliers and obtain quotation
- Interact, evaluate and maintain good relationships with suppliers
- Monitor delivery progress, cost negotiation and service performance of suppliers
- To work with several internal department on their requirements and coordinate with vendors for the on time delivery of parts.
Requirements:
- Diploma in related field, preferably in Materials Management / Purchasing, Or Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
- Min. 2 years procurement experience in commodities/services/contract.
- Preferably with work experience from the following industry CCTV Surveillance System, Card Access.
- Bi-Lingual in English and 1 or more Asian languages.
- Demonstrated competencies in the sourcing of Indirect materials and service. Well abreast with the legal terms and Purchasing documents/procedures
R&D Engineer
Department: Research and Development
Reports to: Sr. Manager R&D
Responsibilities:
- Depend on project complexity, work independently or in a team environment.
- Participate in pre-design work which includes, feasibility study, conceptual design, specification drafting, cost estimation, components/materials identification and prove of concept design.
- Design electronic circuit schematics and Printed Circuit Boards by using the EDA tools.
- Design embedded firmware by using either low level or high level programming languages.
- Source parts/components and build prototype circuits for testing.
- Perform comprehensive tests on prototype, trouble shoot and continuously refine designs to ensure final design goal is achievable.
- Work closely with firmware or software engineers if needed in product development that requires both hardware and software solutions.
- Ensure development work is always completed within the budget and deadline.
- Assist purchasing department in procurement of components for manufacturing.
- Assist vendors in mechanical or enclosure design for the completed electronic product.
- Prepare test plans and assist Manufacturing Department in resolving technical and testing issues during production period.
- Prepare product datasheet and specifications.
- Maintain good documentation of all processes involved in the product development cycle.
- Provide product briefing and technical support for marketing, project and maintenance departments.
- Responsible for documentation of test methods & work-instructions
Additional requirements for hardware engineers:
- Minimum Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
- Strong knowledge in analog and digital electronics.
- Minimum 3 years industrial experience in commercial product development.
- Good understanding of International Regulatory Bodies requirements in product testing, safety and EMC.
- Able to work independently and in a team environment.
- Able to work on tight schedule.
Draughtsman
Department: Design
Reports to: Design Manager
Role:
Work with a team of engineers in understanding the requirements of customers to draft detailed floor plans for the purpose of installing security surveillance equipments within client’s premises.
Responsibilities:
- Skillful preparation of construction drawings.
- Understanding the criticality of dimension taking and meticulously converting it to accurate drawings
- Proficient in time management skill and deliver the required output to meet submission deadline
- Understand project plan and being able to contribute to project supervision
- Set up a filing system of updating and control of drawings
- Any other duties as and when required of you.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: at least a relevant Computer Aided Design Drafting or Mechanical Drafting qualification or Diploma in Electrical / Instrumentation / Control Architecture or equivalent.
- Required skill(s): Autocad 2004 onwards, Adobe Photoshop.
- Minimum 2 years experience drafting engineering drawings
- Must be familiar with relevant Malaysian Engineering and Drafting Codes and practices.
- Technical knowledge is an advantage
- Able to handle and produce full set of working drawings
- Working experience with 2-D AND 3-D Autocad design will be preferred.
- Previous experience in M&E Construction work.
- Knowledge or exposure to building security system is preferred.
Software Engineer / Developer
Department: R&D Department
Reports to: Senior Manager (Software Team)
Role:
Works collaboratively within small teams while assuming responsibility for the delivering software solutions that meet with business requirements. You will gather, analyze, gather, design and develop complex software for the purpose of commercial security surveillance systems.
Responsibility:
- To provide detail technical and functional specification based on requirement specification and design analysis
- To develop and deploy application within time, functionally according to the requirement specification on software development lifecycle and techniques
- Monitor the integrity and compliance of the functionality of programs and highlight any issues that can become problematic to development and suggest pre-emptive options or alternative solutions.
- Produce well-structured and maintainable software within the Product Development Lifecycle.
- Document and record programs.
- Collaborating with other Developers to produce software that interacts with web logic systems, state-machines, and MySQL databases
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Software / Control Information Technology or equivalent
- Skills: Proficient programming knowledge of Microsoft Visual Basic & Microsoft Visual C++, C#, VB. Net SQL
- Proven.Net, COM, SOCKET
- SQL Server 2005 (OLTP & OLAP) and report services.
- Strong knowledge in systematic software development & fundamentals
- Min 2 years’ experience in commercial software programming environment.
- Able to work independently and in a team environment and on tight schedule
