Test Bench and Tools Engineer
Key responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Hardware Development Team to understand new product requirement and provide product specification
- Work closely with the Hardware and Software teams for product integration
- Develop tests for internal Software and Hardware Departments
- Develop and manage external third parties
- Participate in co-development with other regional offices
- Ensure the compliance of IOS/TS standards
- Install and maintain test solution in factory and in house for efficient work support production and New Product Introduction (NPI)
- Report to Project Manger to demonstrate progress during development and NPI
- Responsible for test bench development & maintenance and Factory support
- Generate documentations and reports
Key Requirements:
- Degree in related studies
- Familiar with the GSM Standard and other applicable standards
- Experienced in test bench development for Software and Hardware, Electronics Digital, Analog and RF
- Proficient in National Instruments Test Stand and other test executive software package
- Proficient in software languages: C++, NI Lab view 6.1, Lab Windows CVI
- Knowledge in Software, RF and BB design and use
- Good in Putonghua
- Able to work under pressure, self-initiated with team spirit and professional ethic
- Required to travel frequently in China for factory visit and occasionally to France and the US for co-development.
Failure Analysis Manufacturing Engineer
Key responsibilities:
- Insure that right test data are monitored by EMS team. Analyze these data and let EMS take the right action to correct in case of shift.
- Perform electrical analysis on fails which are returned by Customers, by EMS or which are found after Wave plan.
- Get the physical analysis performed by specialized failure analysis laboratories including EMS.
- Find and described root cause for these failures.
- Develop action plans to correct a shift in test data monitoring.
- Generate failure analysis reports for customers and development team in case of Wave plan.
Key Requirements:
- Degree in related studies with relevant experience
- Experience in Mobile Phone design GSM and CDMA Hardware mostly and software, 3G Knowledge is a plus.
- GPS experience (Hardware mostly and software). Knowledge of the electronic devices used in these technologies
- Self-Initiated, work under pressure due to timely Failure analysis report expected by customer
- Perform analysis and investigation with professional ethic
- Willing to work with other Wavecom centre and factory with Team spirit and ability to share information and knowledge
- Skilled in Electronic dedicated to RF communications. Diagnostic or test methods like Jtag, Boundary scan, Build In Self Test and etc
- Knowledge in RF and digital Electronic measurements
- Expertise in Measurement tools: Radio testers, Spectrum analyzer, Power Supplies, digital pattern generators, laboratory memory testers), micro probing fro High density PCB
- Require to travel frequently in China for factory visit and travel occasionally to France or to Asian countries
Industrial Methods Engineer
Key responsibilities:
- New Product Introduction management by dealing with EMS and development teams
- Ensure the manufacturability, testability, reparability, documentation of our new products and make sure they are ready for customers industrial qualification
- Support and improve current product process in all aspects: manufacturing process, test, data management, test sequence, technical data mandatory for shipment and traceability
- Update/create Engineering Documentation, Product configuration/Provisioning files
- Control the release of official test firmware and customer firmware to manufacturing
- Update extensive industrial data base
- Responsible for Manufacturing Process Flow installation and validation in Factory
- Manage manufacturing data files
- Ensure equipment availability in time for production
- Develop and maintain manufacturing process improvement in terms of Yield, Quality, Cost and asset utilization
Key Requirements:
- Degree in Electronic Engineering with 5- 10 years experience in Electronic development and manufacturing with experience in Methods
- Knowledge in Electronic assembly manufacturing, Methods for Electronic component assembly, SMT process, Electronic test process, supply chain including shipment, lean manufacturing, Poke Yoke, 5S, quality tools such as 3 Sigma, SPC..…
- Have team spirit and ability/willingness to work with other Wavecom centre and EMS , Professional ethic and leadership, Self-Initiated and able to work under pressure
- Familiar with Industrial methods, Logistics, Electronic manufactruring, SMT and Electronic tests
- Frequent travel to China for factory visit and travel occasionally to France or US
- Excellent Putonghua and English
Project Manager
Key responsibilities
- Manage, plan and track product from feasibility to end of life through development, qualification, validation and launch
- Control and monitor projects; define project objectives; organize and plan project organisation; Initiate and manage action plan; Identify and manage risks related to projects
- Coordinate actively with other department managers across the organization between functions of Sales, Marketing, Field Application Engineering, Application Engineering, R&D and Third Parties.
- Act as quality representative for the project, complies and contributes to quality improvement policy defined at corporate and direction level
- Animate pro-actively project and lead core teams for the allocated products
- Contribute to budget and ensure appropriate cost tracking on projects
Key requirements
- Solid and extensive experience of project management on telecommunication industry
- Strong and senior level of experience in programs; preferably on R&D software development
- Excellent communication and presentation skills - both written and oral in English
- Degree/diploma graduate, preferably in Telecommunication Engineering or Electronics Engineering
- Responsible, self-initiated, customer oriented and teamwork
- Flexible, able to travel and work over time
