Mine Engineering Superintendent - Ref No. 507786
Based in Haju Mine Site
Reporting directly to Mine Manager, this position will be responsible for managing and leading the mine engineering in Haju trial mine, working with others to ensure implementation of all aspects of mine planning. Responsibilities include liaising with planning, port and marketing to ensure achievement of mine production target and to ensure compliance of “Zero Harm”.
To be considered for this position you must have at least 8 years experience working in various positions in mine planning and production activities within the mining industry, knowledge of drill and blast activities and have certificate of “Madya” Operational Supervisory (Pengawas Operasional Madya). You also must have proven experience in project, short-term & long-term planning as well as mine planning, scheduling and design. Good knowledge of mining terminology and techniques, good understanding of the mining business both of owner and contractor, and familiarity to work with mining software (Vulcan, Minescape, Sumac or Minex) are mandatory. Problem solving, adaptability and self management, client management awareness, mature and professional approach to all matters are all competencies that are highly desirable as well as fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and good skills in English. Working schedule arrangement will be 4 weeks on and 2 weeks off.
