PT Swift Mining Products (SEBBA International) - QA / QC Inspector, Project Manager
PT Swift Mining Products (SEBBA International) specializes in the design and manufacturing of light weight off highway mining truck bodies and excavator buckets. Due to continued growth vacancies exist for the following positions:
QA/QC Inspector
Reporting to Project Manager and will be responsible for quality and progress inspection throughout production. You will also:
- Regular inspection at Subcontractor works
- Inspect and review weld procedures and qualification at various subcontractor
- Provide technical assistance to Subcontractor
- Ensure contractors are meeting project timelines
- Compilation of QA/QC documentation
- Site visit for inspection throughout warranty period
The successful candidate will possess the following attributes:
- Trade/Heavy Engineering background
- Thorough understanding of QA/QC procedures and NDT procedures
- Experience with compilation of documentation
- Written and spoken good English
- Knowledge of MS Office application
Project Manager
Reporting to the General Manager and will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:
- Work with Business Development Manager to establish project time frames and budgets for projects
- Preparation Project Plans
- Negotiate costing, engage and manage multiple subcontractors
- Manage QA/QC Inspectors
- Provide weekly updates to clients
- Negotiate and procurement of material
- Provide technical advice to Sales Team and Contractors
- Feedback to Engineering Department for continuous improvement
- Coordinate site visit and inspection throughout warranty period
The successful candidate will possess the following attributes:
- Trade / Engineering background in Heavy Engineering
- Thorough understanding of welding, QA/QC and NDT procedures
- Excellent communication skills, written and spoken good English
- MS Office and Project application, also AutoCAD experience
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
- Strong focus on safety and quality
