Emirates Aluminium is establishing itself as the UAE’s industrial flagship project and is targeted to be the largest single site aluminium smelter in the world. EMAL was established in 2007, under the leader of H.H Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the UAE by Emiri Decree Number 7 of 2007. In few years EMAL will transform into a global aluminium producer, generating a total annual volume of 700,000 metric tones of quality metal.
