As an Independent Power Producer, PT Asrigita Prasarana aims to develop various IPP projects within Indonesia, and the east Palembang Project is focused to supply electric power for Sumatera Island. The Plant has been in successful and continuous power generation since September 2nd, 2004, same day as the opening ceremony of Indonesian National Sports Game (PON) occurred, and since then it had supplied electric power more than 2.222.178.200 kWh to PLN’s grid since September 2004 until end of September 2006.
